Description
The common name for Orius insidiosus is the minute pirate bug.
Although primarily used for thrips control, Orius are generalist predators. They will kill/eat a wide variety of tiny arthropod pests. Adult Orius will eat all mobile thrips stages (larvae and adults), spider mites, aphids, and whiteflies. The nymphs mainly eat thrips larvae. Adults and nymphs can survive on pollen and be supplementary fed with NUTRIforce.
