Bora-Care Commercial is an EPA registered, patented liquid borate product labeled for the primary control of subterranean and Formosan termites in new commercial construction. The active in ingredient is disodium octaborate tetrahydrate infused into a liquid glycol solution as a concentrate. The concentrate is mix with water to form up to a 23% active treatment solution. The application of Bora-Care Commercial to new “commercial” construction serves as a primary treatment for the prevention of subterranean termites in those structures. The product is applied in a two foot band treatment at the base of foundations to concrete, steel, metal, piping, wood and block to prevent entry by subterranean termites. Bora-Care applications are back by over 20 years of research and field usage. Bora-Care applications can produce “green point” credits for green-based construction program requirements.
